Manual QA Engineer – Miami

We are working with an innovative SaaS software company that are looking to revolutionise the construction industry. Their product’s will allow accurate tracking and cost savings through their app as well as their physical on-site product. This business are based in the heart of Miami with their engineering team of 10 collaborating in the office each day.

This is junior to mid level role and you must be either a US Citizen or have a valid Green Card.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out test cases based on product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Create and maintain structured test cases and checklists for new and existing features.
• Traverse product functionality to discover edge cases and identify usability issues.
• Clearly document issues with steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual behaviour.
• Diligently re-run test cases during release cycles to ensure new changes don’t effect existing functionality.
• Work closely with with developers, designers, and product managers and articulate findings and test coverage clearly.
• Collaborate with the automation team and recognise test scenarios that could be automated over time.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in software QA, with a focus on manual testing.
• Good understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience testing web applications (mobile web a plus).
• Experience writing and maintaining test documentation and bug reports.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced agile environments.
